Life presents many challenges and surprises. Career, relationships, mental health, and knowing what steps to take and direction to go may seem like a difficult climb. 

 

This is exactly why I created custom therapeutic art sessions. 

 

If you want to go deeper into expressing yourself and gain clarity to transform your emotions and thoughts then therapeutic art sessions could hold the key for you. 

 

In these sessions, you:

  • Are guided by a professional artist step-by-step to create intuitive, expressive art to unblock your inner critic, even if you don’t have any previous experience in art.

  • Use creative techniques to open up and encourage a dialogue and process whatever personal issue/goal you want to focus on. 

  • Can utilize creativity as a tool to reduce stress, anxiety and overwhelming thoughts through the power of visual art-making.

  • Can develop art techniques as a form of meditation and mindfulness to tap into your subconscious, your intuition and discover insights about yourself. 

  • Practise art mindfully to improve emotional wellbeing and to help you move forward and experience personal growth.

You can focus on specific issues or goals, including:

  • Letting go of fears

  • Growing your self-esteem and confidence

  • Moving through relationship issues

  • Grief or loss

  • loneliness 

Inside the session, you’ll:

  • Meet in a 90-minute video call (Zoom) fortnightly (or weekly)

  • Bring your own art materials 

  • Be guided to make art in a safe, nonjudgmental space

  • Use creative processes to encourage a dialogue in relation to your goals/challenges

  • Practise art mindfully to help relax and manage anxiety

  • Receive support & life coaching for the goals/challenges you’re working on

  • Get homework or prompts to do in between sessions, if needed

The Investment

 

  • Single sessions £65

  • Fortnightly sessions (2 month package; total of 4 sessions) is £250 

  • Fortnightly sessions (3 month package; total of 6 sessions) is £340 

  • Weekly sessions (2 month package; total of 8 sessions) is £430 

Hi, I'm Komal 

A professional artist, and therapeutic art coach with over 10 years teaching experience in Art & Design education.

My favourite part of what I do is seeing peoples journey of personal growth and self-expression; helping others by creating a safe space to use art to connect with their inner self. 

Making art allows for an imaginative and holistic approach, which can unlock and engage with who we really are and who we want to be.

 

Practising art mindfully allows for the opportunity to slow down and develop self-awareness, acceptance and empathy.

These sessions require no previous art skills or training. Please bring your preferred drawing and painting materials as well as paper, sketchbook or canvas. Don't worry if you don't know how to use the materials. I will guide you.
